Leroy Joseph Parker

Resident of Belmont

Leroy (Lee) Parker died peacefully in his sleep Sept. 1st, 2010 while vacationing at South Lake Tahoe, Ca.

Born in Modesto, Ca. on June 21, 1940 to Joseph and Anna Parker. He lived in Belmont, Ca. for the past 56 years. Lee was a graduate of Carlmont High School. He retired from Guittard Chocolate after 41 years. Lee is survived by his loving wife Sandra (Sue), and their four children: Ann, Jim, Cheryl, and Jay, four grandchildren, Brittany, Cassie, Heather, and Christopher, his brother Donald and Carol Parker, his father and mother-in-law John and Alice Hoaglin and many adoring nieces, nephew, and friends.

He was preceded by his father Joseph Parker, mother Anna Parker, Sister and her husband, Joann and Richard Cashman, and mother-in-law Frances Hoaglin.

He loved fishing, golf, garage sales, cooking, and collecting were among many of his hobbies.

Lee's true passion was people. Few things gave Lee more pleasure than talking with people he just met, old friends, or family.

A memorial service will be held on October 23rd, 11:00 AM at Redeemer Lutheran Church - 468 Grand Street, Redwood City, Ca.

Memorial contribution maybe made to Redeemer Lutheran Church or School, or any charity of your choice.
