Mary Nell Naughton

Mary Nell Naughton Of San Jose, died on January 29, in St. Petersburg, Florida. She was surrounded by her loving family, her loving husband Michael of 48 years, and her children, Patrick Naughton of Richmond, Virginia, Kathleen Sullivan of Naples, Florida, Sean Naughton of Los Angeles, Thomas Naughton of Austin, Texas and Molly Naughton of Palo Alto. Her absence is deeply felt by her immediate family as well as her sister, Eileen Gottwalt of Lakeshore, Minnesota and her brother, John Ryan of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Her grandchildren, Megan, Michael, Caitlin, Clare, Liam, William and Cate, all miss their 'Zam'.

Professionally, Mary Nell was an Executive Producer for Hewlett-Packard television. Personally, she was passionate supporter of the San Jose Police Department for which she volunteered. Mary Nell was also active in the American Association of University Women, Second Harvest Food Bank and Project Linus.

Tiny of frame but generous of spirit, her love, compassion and kindness touched all she encountered. She will be missed greatly by us all.
