Toni Jean Miller

1941 - 2022

Toni Jean Miller passed away peacefully in San Jose on August 13th, 2022. She was 81.The oldest of 2 children, Toni was born on January 26th to Frank and June McNeely in West Virginia. Toni, and her parents, moved to San Jose, CA in 1960. There, she worked for the San Jose Police Dept. between 60'-63'. This is where she met her husband, Roland "Rolly" Miller, who was a Sergeant for 32 years with the San Jose Police Dept. Toni then worked for the Building Dept. between 63'-68'. She would often talk about the amazing, life long, friends she met while working. She valued her friends so deeply.Toni enjoyed reading, being outdoors, connecting with dear friends, and, of course, shopping. However, spending time with her family and grandkids was her first love. Toni really enjoyed reading and grammar. She was quite the orthographer. So, we are hoping there are no grammatical errors in this obituary. Otherwise, she would have had them circled, and sent back to the publication.Toni put a smile on everyone's face that she met. She had such a zest for life. She was always so positive, and made everyone in her company laugh. She was humble, hard working, loyal, trustworthy, compassionate, non-judgmental, kind hearted, and very sarcastic to boot. She was truly the best mother and grandmother.Toni is preceded in death by her husband, Roland Miller. She is survived by a son, Steve Miller; daughter Holly Miller Luscher and Holly's husband, Lee; grandsons Logan and Landon Luscher. Toni, also, is survived by her sibling Francis "Frankie" McNeely.
