Edith Kreisel Obituary
Edith Ann Benson Kreisel, formerly of Porter, gained her wings on Monday, July 24, 2023, at her home in Eveleth, Minn.
Edith was born in Canby Hospital on August 19, 1948, to Everett and Leona Benson. She married Paul Kreisel on November 9, 1971. After marrying they moved to Eveleth and resided there until her death of a sudden heart attack. Her sense of humor and her wit will be dearly missed.
She is survived by her husband, Paul; sisters Marlys Edwards, Marlene Fredricks, and Mary Hein; brothers Keith (Dena) Benson and Larry (Edyie) Benson; sisters-in-law Pauline Benson and Tami Benson; cousins-in-law Mike and Sue Fierstine; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, many friends, and special neighbors.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters Esther and Carol; and brothers Jim, Raymond, and Everett Jr.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at the Range Funeral Home Chapel in Virginia on Wednesday, August 2, at 4 p.m. with a visitation one hour prior. Pastor Jeanne Madsen will officiate.

Aunt Edie was probably the kindest person I've ever known. Full of love and happiness. She will be greatly missed.
