Martha Margaret VanDuker

Martha Margaret VanDuker, 87, of Meadowlands, Minn., passed away on March 17, 2024, in Duluth, Minn.

She was born March 29, 1936, in Detroit, Mich.

In 1957, Mrs. VanDuker married Raymond VanDuker in Detroit, Mich. She was a full-time mom to her five children and a wonderful cook. In 1971, Mr. and Mrs. VanDuker moved their family to northern Minnesota. There she and Raymond owned and operated The Rail Hub in Elmer together for many years.

In her spare time, she loved spending time with her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, relaxing on the water, traveling, gardening, going to the casino, watching her hummingbirds and QVC.

She is survived by her children, Susan (Walter) Woodcock, Steven (Bonnie) VanDuker, Michael (Sonya) VanDuker, Nancy (LeRoy) Forstrom; her 11 grandchildren and her 18 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Anna Kupovich; her husband, Raymond VanDuker; her son, James VanDuker; her great-grandchild, Stella Radke; and her siblings, Marie Mottonen and Frances Bufford.

Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 23, 2024, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Meadowlands, Minn. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until the beginning of the church service. Luncheon to follow.
