Lenita L. Colelli

MILFORD Mrs. Lenita L. (Luttner) Colelli, 77, of Milford, died Sunday evening, May 18, 2008, at the Geriatric Authority of Milford, after a period of declining health. She was the wife of Alfio "Al" V. Colelli. Mrs. Colelli was born in Latrobe, Pa., the daughter of the late Earl and the late Florence (Ruggiero) Luttner. She attended grammar school in Latrobe as a young girl and was a graduate of Latrobe High School. She was also a graduate of the Latrobe School of Nursing. Mrs. Colelli had been a resident of Milford since 1953, and had been employed as a pediatrics registered nurse at the Milford-Whitinsville Regional Hospital for 20 years. She was a communicant of Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, Milford, and was an avid Boston Red Sox fan and New England Patriots fan. But most of all, she loved her family. Along with her husband of 55 years, she is survived by two sons, Atty. Vincent P. Colelli and his wife, Darlene, of Upper St. Clair, Pa., and David M. Colelli and his wife, June, of Milford; one daughter, Marcia, wife of Stephen DelVecchio, of Milford; six grandchildren, Stephen Colelli and Kristin Colelli of Upper St. Clair, Pa., Joseph Colelli, Michael Colelli, Mark DelVecchio and Matthew DelVecchio of Milford; one brother, Earl Luttner and his wife, Roseanne, of Fox Chapel, Pa.; also nieces and nephews. Mrs. Colelli was the sister of the late Earline Vidakovich. Her funeral will be held Friday, May 23, at 9 a.m., from the Edwards Memorial Funeral Home, 44 Congress St., Milford (www.edwardsmemorialfuneralhome.com), followed by a Mass of Christian burial, at 10 a.m., in Sacred Heart of Jesus Church (Upper Church), 7 East Main St., Milford. Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Milford. Visiting hours will be Thursday evening, from 5 to 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Helping Hands of the Milford Geriatric Authority, 1 Countryside Drive, Milford, MA 01757.
