Tim Walker of Conroe, Texas, formerly of Burlington passed away on Wednesday, Dec. 27, after two weeks in ICU with complications from multiple seizures.
He loved his friends and family immensely especially his wife of 30 years, Michelle (Darrah) Walker; his daughter, Payton Walker; his son, Trevor Walker; and his grandson Walker McKnight.
He is survived by his beloved parents Jerry and Alice Walker, and his sister Angie Brown, all of West Burlington. Brother Don (Kelly) Walker, brother Mark Walker of Burlington, and sister Barb (Wayne) Ness of Mesa, Arizona, and mother-In-law Trudy Darrah of Willis, Texas.
Tim was born in Burlington on Dec. 9, 1970, and married Michelle in Las Vegas on Sept. 10, 1993.
Tim loved to travel, boat, quad ride, and was an avid Iowa Hawkeye fan! Tim grew up playing football and basketball for the West Burlington Falcons.
He graduated from Western Illinois University in 1994. He spent over 25 years in Supply Chain Management. Tim was the proudest dad and grandpa anyone had ever known.
He will be missed by many nieces and nephews, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, cousins, aunts, uncles and numerous friends.
Services for Tim will be in Burlington at Harmony Bible Church, 550 Division St., Burlington, on Jan. 13 at 10:30 a.m. A luncheon will follow the service at the church. A celebration of life will follow at The Paddle Wheel, 613 Jefferson St., Burlington.
