Jerry Shand Obituary
Jerry E. Shand, age 81, of Mesa, Ariz., a former resident of Ft. Mohave, Ariz. passed away peacefully at his home on Friday, January 26, 2018.
He was born to Roy Shand and Louise Miller on August 13, 1936 in Warsaw, Ind. He married Marlene Mae Kelly on August 12, 1955 in Warsaw, Ind.
Jerry was retired from Real Estate. He and his wife Marlene were Real Estate Brokers in Indiana and Arizona for over 40 years together. He was formerly Captain of the Detective Bureau in Goshen, Ind. He also enjoyed golfing, fishing, and spending time with his family.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Marlene; daughter, Rebekah L. Morden; and his parents.
Jerry is survived by his daughter Tanya Shand Swihart, granddaughter Kasey Swihart; son, Gary (Shannon) Shand and grandsons Cole Shand all of Mesa, Ariz. and Cpl. Kyle Shand, Camp Pendleton, Calif U.S. Marine Corp; grandaughter, Ashley (Sean) Cooper; great-grandchildren Alyse and Landon Cooper all of Meridian, Idaho.
There will be a memorial service on Saturday, February 24, 2018 at 11:00am at Desert Shores Community Baptist Church located at 2625 Landon Drive, Bullhead City, AZ 86429. The service is open to the public.
