Bud's parents babysat me in Fairmount Minnesota when I was an infant. They were dear friends of my parents, Harold and Bernice Otte. Harold was the school principal at St. Paul Lutheran School in Fairmount. Blessings to you and the family.

Teen, I was so sorry to hear about Bud. He was such a special man and touched so many lives including my own. In the years that I knew him, I never saw a frown or heard a complaint. He always smiled and left me with a feeling of joy and happiness. I will miss him terribly but I know he is up there smiling with God.

Aunt Teen, Paige, Kevin, Kathleen, and all. I remember one summer back in Fairmont when all of us were together and went fishing. We caught 64 fish that night and forgot to bring a bucket to put them in. We put them in a blanket and took them home where Uncle Bud and Grandpa were up until the 3am cleaning fish. Uncle Bud was always and always will be a mentor, not just to me but I am sure to many. He was a great man.

Teen, Paige, Kev, sorry to hear about Bud. he was one fine dude. just gotta tell one short story... we lives side by side in a duplex in Del Rio. Bud worked at hospital and we lived close enough for him to walk to and from work. he drove to work one day, forgot he had, and walked home, when he saw his car was missing, he called the cops and reported it stolen. they found it in the hospital parking lot. did we ever laugh. i was proud to call him, my friend.....
