Montgomery - Ms. Thelma B. Lancaster a resident of Montgomery, AL expired August 2, 2020. Graveside services will be held Thursday, August 6, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. from Greenwood Serenity Gardens. Family hour will be held Wednesday, August 5, 2020 from 6:00 p.m. -7:00 p.m. from the chapel of Ross-Clayton Funeral Home.

Fun and loving memories of her from many years back. Just like another mother to us. I am sad with you. She was such a positive force in the lives she touched. She was a mother to her as little ones and also in their adult lives. I love you Mrs Lancaster and will never forget the times we spent together. I will never forget your friendship with my mother. It is your time to rest and sleep peacefully.

God knew he had one of the best when he chose to call you home a beautiful flower. I truly thank him for placing you in my life for so many years.I will miss our talks and your laughter at Kamryn's funny words ,I will never forget how you stepped in when my mother went to be with the Lord,how you encouraged me to keep my head up now whose going to do that for me now that you are gone because I will miss you just as much! Thank you for taking me under your wings and allowing me and my family to be a part of your family, for allowing me the opportunity to have coached beside you and to have experienced all of the wonderful victories your sports teams brought us through out the years.I love you Mrs. Lancaster and I 'm glad "I love you" were the last words you ever heard me say.

My knowing Thelma goes way back to when she & her family lived out by the King Hill community when she worked nights & went to college during the day. Over the years our paths would cross with the last time being about a year ago while we were getting our cars serviced. As always we had a great conversation about our past. She was a lovely person.
