Norma Thompson Ritchie, 77, of Mooresville, NC, passed away on Monday, June 17, 2024, at her home.

She was born on September 21, 1946, in Iredell County, NC, to the late Paden Moore Thompson, Sr. and Kathleen Martin Thompson.

Norma enjoyed working at the Lake Norman Dance Gallery.

She loved her family dearly, especially her grandchildren, cats, and dogs.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her infant son, Timothy Joe Ritchie.

Those left to cherish Norma's memory are her loving husband, Ted Wayne Ritchie; children, Theodore Ritchie (Sharlene Smith), Nikki Ritchie, Hensley (Richard Arthurs); grandchildren, Ashley Ritchie, Bella Hensley, Abel Arthurs; great-grandson, Brody Woods; brothers, Paden Thompson, Jr., Elvis Thompson; sister, Donna Stallings; numerous nephews, nieces, and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, June 21, 2024, at the chapel of Cavin-Cook Funeral Home with Chaplain Russell Files officiating. Burial will follow the service at Iredell Memorial Park, Statesville, NC. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m., on Thursday, June 20, 2024, at the funeral home.
