Albert Fearmonti Obituary

Albert A. Fearmonti, 69 of Frontenac died unexpectedly at his home in the early morning of November 9, 2013.
He was born August 8, 1944 in Frontenac. He attended Frontenac school and was a 1962 graduate of Frontenac High School. Albert and his family lived in the Frontenac/Pittsburg area his entire life.
Albert met Kathy Bianchi in February 1963; they were married February 1, 1964 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Pittsburg. Kathy survives at the home.
He drove for Pepsi Cola Bottling Company in Pittsburg for 26 years and then worked for USD 250 for 14 years as a bus driver.
Albert was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Frontenac. During his children's younger years Albert coached his son's little league and flag football teams and his daughter's softball teams. He loved working with children and later loved his "bus kids"; he would buy tacos at the end of the school year for his students for being good while traveling on the bus to and from school. His wife, children and grandchildren were his world and he worked very hard to support them his whole life. He would always help any friend or family member in need. Albert will be greatly missed by his family and friends and will always hold him in their hearts.
Survivors include his wife Kathy of the home; a daughter Melissa Horton and husband Jackson of Fayetteville, AR; a son James Fearmonti and wife Jessica of Frontenac; two sisters Una Sampley and husband J.E., and Jo Fearmonti; grandchildren Tyler Johnson, Shelby Marshall, Kylie, Caitlen and JT Horton all of Fayetteville, AR, Alissa and Alucian Fearmonti both of Parsons, Vincent Fearmonti of Frontenac, Kaitlin and Raistlin Brewer of Louisburg several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents.
A Memorial Mass will be 11 a.m. Thursday November 14, 2013 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church parish hall with Father Thomas Stroot as celebrant. Condolences can be sent to www.friskelfuneralhome.com. In lieu of flowers the family suggests expressions of sympathy be in the form of memorials to the Sacred Heart Catholic Church or for Masses to be said in Albert's name. Memorials may be brought by or mailed to the Friskel Funeral Home 230 E. McKay/P.O. Box 907 Frontenac, KS 66763.

My dad will be remembered by all for his genuine personality. He loved his family and friends with every part of his soul and has sacrificed a lot in his lifetime for others. I love you daddy. Rest In Peace.

Sorry for your loss. Albert was always friendly and always spoke to me when I saw him. He was a little ahead of me in high school but remember those days well. Peace be with you, Janelle (Riley) and Jon Prideaux.
