I graduated from PSU School of Nursing in 1977. It was obvious to me way back then that she was an extra special lady, and we were lucky to have her as our leader. She was someone a nursing student could talk to..along with her outstanding credentials. I had one on one time with her, and had the privilege to introduce her at our pinning ceremony. Amazing woman. My sympathies to the family. Janey Brogan Marshall RN

Mrs. Waggoner was my favorite instructor who instilled such work ethics and always with a kindness that was unsurpassed. I credit her with forming me into the nurse I became. Shirley Miller Larios

I owe your mother for the love of nursing. I have so many memories I graduated in 1950. She taught me,"nursing arts." We did the actual care of the patient. She was a great teacher and friend. Wilma Newell

Such an instrumental women in the program that I will finish in May at Pittsburg State. I am thankful for her passion for serving others and was blessed enough to spend a little time with Cecilia. Thankful for the life God had planned for her.
