Daniel Palomino Obituary
He was born on August 10, 1958 in El Paso, Texas to the late Ascension and Maria Irene Palomino.
Daniel was raised and educated in El Paso, Texas. He moved to Midland in 1982. He met and later married Jeanie Sotelo in 1990.
Daniel was a transmission specialist with Tranzcare in Midland. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, collecting NASCAR memorabilia and was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan. He also loved to cook outdoors and cater to everyone. Daniel owned and operated B&D Fajitas. He was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church.
Daniel was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.
He leaves behind his loving wife Jeanie Sotelo of Midland; five daughters: Valerie Palomino and Veronica Palomino of El Paso, TX, Connie Marie Subia and Erin Rae Palomino of Midland and Angel Palomino of Post, TX; three brothers: Manuel Palomino and Juan Palomino of Midland and Frank Palomino of Harlingen, TX; four sisters: Belia Quinonez and Betty Ann Palomino of Denver, CO, Yolanda Palomino of Midland and Thelma Ochoa of Fort Davis, TX; five grandchildren, numerous uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces and cousins.
Pallbearers are Manuel Palomino Jr., Juan "Tito" Ramirez, Eddie Garcia Jr., Eric Garcia, Frank Palomino Jr. and Joey Licon. Honorary pallbearers are Gilbert Lopez, Polo Lopez, Stan Diaz, Tony Yorkman, Anthony Lopez and Ed Dailing.
Rosary will be held tonight at 7:00 P.M. at Pipkin Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Mass will take place on Thursday, October 25 at 11:00 A.M. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Serenity Memorial Gardens.
