David Bailey Obituary

Bailey David Michael Bailey, 46, passed away on Tuesday, May 27, 2014. He was born November 23, 1967, in Normandy, Missouri to David L. Bailey and Carol L. Bailey. David attended J.M Hanks High School in El Paso, Texas. He married his beloved wife Linda Faye Bailey on May 23, 2012. David enjoyed pouring candles with his wife at Escents Candle Company. He also enjoyed playing pool, watching NASCAR races, and yard work. Everyone who knew him loved him. He will be sorely missed. David is preceded in death by both his grandfathers, David L. Bailey Sr. and August Lang. David is survived by his parents; four daughters, Sabrina Pojar and Husband Darin of Phoenix, Arizona, Veronica Meza and husband Ricky of Richmond, Texas, Elizabeth Rocke, and Heather De Los Reyes and husband Matthew of New Braunfels, Texas; two brothers, William L. Bailey and wife Julie of Albuquerque, New Mexico, John A. Bailey and wife Laura of El Paso, Texas; grandmothers, Cynthia Bailey of Las Cruces, New Mexico, and Renee Lang of Dodge City, Kansas; six grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and many friends and family. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, June 6, 2014, at Ellis Funeral Home Chapel. Services are entrusted with Ellis Funeral Home. Dad, I just love you. And thank you for visiting me in my dreams. I am so proud to be part of such an awesome family. Your mom is so wonderful and our relationship as her grand daughter has grown stronger. I will say this until I am black and blue, I am so glad God chose you to be my father, raise me, love me, bond with me, grow with me and be a grandpa. I miss you everyday of every minute of every second. I am true a testament of how good God is. He picked you for our family. I am forever grateful. Amen.

In the 11 years I knew David he was so great. He was the first person 8 met in my wifes family. His goofiness and outgoing personality will surely be missed by us all. I love you Elizabeth and will help you through this. I am so glad we went and spent 2 weeks with him. Those memories will be cherished for the rest of my life.
