He is survived by one son, Robert Quattlebaum and wife Janna of Midland, TX; daughters Karen Quattlebaum and Susan Quattlebaum of Bryan, TX and Jenny Quattlebaum of Houston. Surviving him are also two sisters, Eleanor Cox and Emily Holden and husband Herb, all of Nacogdoches, TX; one brother-in-law, Joseph A. Stovall and wife Magdalena of Sugar Land, TX. He is also survived by three grandsons, Cole Quattlebaum, Blake Quattlebaum and Gentry Quattlebaum, all of Midland, TX, and many nieces and nephews. Special thanks to Bob Patterson, and Dad's many friends at the Terrace at Spring Shadows in Houston.

Dear Quattlebaum Famliy,

I would like to express my deepest sympathies at the loss of your father. Upon my first introduction to your father,I knew instantly that he was great man, full of heart, life, love and a sweet tooth for ice cream. He will truly be missed.

Jim was a good friend and hero when I had computer problems. Our thoughts are with your family now and you are in our hearts. He was a great Dad. Always caring and worrying about Jenny - his baby girl. God has taken you home now and if he needs a good Cadillac man he now has one. Love you and will miss you.
