Joe Louie Ruiz, 41, of Midland, TX, passed away on November 17, 2023, in Midland, TX. Joe Louie Ruiz was born in Odessa, TX to Randy Ruiz, Sr. and Elida Ellis on September 24, 1982. He was married to Jo-Ann Alvarez Ruiz on April 26, 2021, in Odessa, TX. He was the owner of Joe Jo Construction LLC dba Midland Glass. Joe was preceded in death by his son Joe Angel Ruiz, his brother Joshua Ruiz, his angel Mr. Peter Buck, father-in- law Jesus Gomez Alvarez, grandparents Sista & Ferando Ruiz, nephew Jo Matthew Ruiz, and great niece Iternity Mancha. Joe is survived by wife Jo-Ann Alvarez Ruiz, children Karolin (KK) Ruiz, Erica McGarity husband Pete McGarity, Krystal Tijerina, Israel Tijerina wife Mariel Tijerina, and Hector Flores; siblings Jason Llanez wife Gloria Rosas, Randy Ruiz, Jr. wife Joylynn Ruiz, Angelina Llanez, Crystal Ellis, Sara Lujan husband Steve Lujan, Nicholas Ruiz wife Nicole Ruiz, Jessica Ruiz husband Steven Garcia; father Randy Ruiz, Sr. wife Delores Barrera Rodriguez, mother Elida Ellis; mother-in-law Lupe Alverez; 7 grandchildren, 30 nieces & nephews, 4 great nieces & nephew, and his angels Mrs. Lena Buck, Kevin and Dr. Reema Patel. Pallbearers will be Randy Ruiz, Jr, Nicholas Ruiz, Anthony Ruiz, Steven Garcia, Anthony Tuda, Jordan Tuda, Christopher Garica, Jason Llanez. Viewing will begin on Wednesday, November 22, 2023, at Willowbrook Funeral Home, 1311 W. Florida Ave., Midland, TX 79701 from 9:00 am - 8:00 pm with a small service at 6:00 pm by Pastor James Williams. A reception will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, November 23, 2023, at The Downtown Venue, 515 N. Grant Ave., Odessa, TX 79761 sponsored by friends and family. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am officiated by his best friend Rudy Aguilar on Friday, November 24, 2023, at Willowbrook Funeral Home, 1311 W. Florida Ave, Midland, TX 79701. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Garden 6801 E. Business 20, Odessa, TX 79762. Arrangements are entrusted to Willowbrook Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Midland.
