My heart felt condolences go out to your my . I took care of Mrs Bray for two years . We did everything together . I loved her wit and stubbornness , she had no problem speaking mind about anything . I can just hear her laughter now , not to mention all the funny story she told me , as she would say these are the stories my mother told me when I was little . One was , did you know there was a man in the moon , I said no , she said do you know why hes there because he got caught burning trash on sunday and God put him there . Now I cant look at the moon unless I think of her . Where ever wed go people just thought she was my grandmother , we would both just laugh . I loved Mrs Bray and adored her . Remembering her walking in the kitchen with her cane and Jenny lets just get out of here , id say where do you want to go , shed say any where lets just go , well Mrs Bray some day when I come to heaven we will meet again and we will just go where ever you want , miss you always , love you Jenny

Most of my fondest memories are of your mother. She knew what the true meaning of "neighbor" was; always there to help out or simply lend an ear. As a Christian, her living testimony reached out to all around her. Your mother's pride and love for you, Anne and David, was truly deep. That love is evident in the persons you grew to be and it ensures that her legacy of kindness continues. Many years have passed since we've seen each other, but I think often of our growing up together in Hialeah. I always admired your mother's strength, loyalty and work ethic. She was a true role model for me. God bless and comfort you both, and your families, until we are all home again.

June 29, 2015

Dear David and Anne:

My heartfelt condolences to both of you and to your families. So many things came to mind when I heard the sad news about your Mom's passing. Your Mom, together with your Dad, were one of the original "homesteaders" of that place in Hialeah we knew as East Sixth Court. She helped make the rock, soil, houses, and people who lived and grew up there into a neighborhood, not just a place. The closeness, love, support and caring among the families created the nurturing environment we grew up in and made us into the adults we now are. Take strength from the good qualities she gave to you and take comfort from the good memories you have of her. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

With deepest sympathy, Butch

Some of my best childhood memories are of her. I loved her infectious smile and laughter. The last Decoration I attended was with her and Aunt Ruth and we had so much fun. I'm sure she is having a ball in heaven visiting with all of them.

My condolences, thoughts, and prayers go out to entire family and especially Anne. I did not know her mother well, but stories that I have heard, and anyone that raised as fine a person as Anne, must have been an amazing lady.
