Timothy Perry Obituary
Des Moines
Timothy James Perry, 46, died Friday, August 16, 2013. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 21, 2013 from 5:30 to 8 p.m. at Hamilton's on Westown Parkway, 3601 Westown Parkway in West Des Moines.
Tim was born on June 6, 1967 in Chariton, Iowa. He graduated from Jefferson High School in Jefferson, IA and from Iowa State University where he lettered in baseball graduating in 1991 with a degree in Journalism. Later, he moved to Des Moines and received a degree in Nursing Home Administration from Des Moines Area Community College and worked for many years in this area. He married Susan Simon in 1991 and they were blessed with their son, Devin.
Tim loved watching and coaching his son in baseball. He enjoyed camping, being outdoors, and talking to people from all walks of life.
He is survived by his mother, Glenda (Binns) Gibson of Guthrie Center, IA; son, Devin Perry of Ames, IA; brother, Rod Perry of Albia, IA; sister, Cynthia Perry-Custer of Brenan, TX and many other relatives.

Tim was a good friend. We lost touch a few years ago but still wished the best for him. Sad to hear he has passed. We send our heart felt sorrow for his family and friends. Since we live in Arizona we wont be able to attend the service, but wanted to share our thoughts.
