CANA, Va. — Mrs. Debra Denise Partridge Nuhfer, 58, of Cana, Va., passed away Sunday, Nov. 24, 2013, at Northern Hospital of Surry County. She was born in Surry County on Nov. 10, 1955, to Haskel Partridge and the late Wanda Lou Barker Partridge. Mrs. Nuhfer was a homemaker, and loved taking care of her family. She is survived by her husband, Robert Nuhfer Jr. of the home; her father, Haskel Partridge and stepmother, Pat Partridge, of Cana; two stepbrothers; three stepsisters; her father and mother-in-law, Robert Nuhfer Sr. and Margaret, of Newport News, Va.; two sisters-in-law, Terri Berube of Yorktown, Va.,, Kimberly Butler of Newport News; a brother-in-law, Charles Nuhfer of Hampton; and an uncle, John Hooley of Cana. In addition to her mother, Mrs. Nuhfer was preceded in death by an aunt, Faye Hooley. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Nov. 27, 2013, at 2 p.m. at Fancy Gap Baptist Church with the Rev. Dwight Sechrist officiating. Burial will follow in Skyline Mausoleum. The family will receive friends Tuesday, Nov. 27, 2013, from 6 until 8 p.m. at Moody Funeral Home in Mount Airy.
