Junior Ephrin Dotson

SILOAM — Mr. Junior Ephrin Dotson, age 81, of Siloam, died Friday, June 24, 2016, at the Woltz Hospice Home. He was born January 03, 1935, in Stokes County to the late Joel Ephrin Dotson & Maggie Fulk Dotson. Mr. Dotson was a farmer and loved playing bluegrass music. He was of the Primitive Baptist Faith. He is survived by his wife, Carol Fulk Dotson of the home; daughter, Amy Dotson & fiancé Terry Easter of Siloam, NC; sons & daughters-in-law, Joel & Marie Dotson of Siloam, NC, and Randy & Allison Dotson of Siloam, NC; two special granddaughters, Daphne & Olivia Dotson; brother & sister-in-law, Norman and Velma Dotson of East Bend, NC; half-sisters, Betty Anders and husband Roger of Pfafftown, NC, and Dorothy Chilton & husband Wayne of King, NC; special uncles, Theodore & Joe Fulk and special canine companion, Molly. In addition to his parents, Mr. Dotson was preceded in death by a sister, Marie Harper, a brother, Grady Dotson and half-brother, Carl Fulk. Funeral service will be held Monday, June 27, 2016, at 2 p.m. at Howell-Nelson Funeral Chapel of Pilot Mountain conducted by Elder Jesse Williams, Elder Scottie Marshall and Rev. Jeff Moran with interment to follow at Volunteer Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. Family will receive friends on Sunday, June 26, 2016, from 6-8 p.m. at Howell-Nelson Funeral Service.
