SHIRLEY MARIE (BONEVELLE) DANIELS Born October 19, 1936, Munising, Mich. First and foremost: wife of Larry (deceased); mother of Joe (deceased), Rebecca, John and Maggie; mother-in-law to Carrie and Sherry; grandmother to Isaac, Felix, Emily, Maddie, Mat, Olivia, Hayley, Grace and Jackson; great-grandmother to Owen, Bennett, Mealea, Blake, Theo and Edgar; daughter of Joseph and Eloise; sister to Joan and Ann; sister-in-law, aunt, cousin, and friend. Lifelong student, teacher and mentor: Mather High School (Valedictorian) 1954, B.A. (Magna Cum Laude), Michigan State University 1958, PhD Candidate (Celtic Literature) Memorial University of Newfoundland, Lecturer (Literature) University of Maryland and High school teacher (English)DODDs. She spent her formative years in her beloved Michigan, molded and shaped by family and friends, before setting out on an adventure with her great love. For nearly the next 60 years she travelled the world with her family learning, sharing and teaching before she returned for a final time to Michigan where she drew her last breath on April 3, 2023.
