Camping memories as I recall
Were getting together an having a ball
Campers around the Reiley yard
Adults , teenagers, and kids bombard
Uncle Art made sure the wood was split
And always made sure the fire was lit
Our tents were all pitched
And the trailers were on-hitched
Slumbering in the house all over the floor
Nobody cared, heck!, we wanted more
The laughter and clanking of all he noise
Made uncle Larry get up and trip on toys
"Reiley"!, aunt Margeret said to him
"The laughter is great",she said with a grin
The house needs laughter, their not bad
Unc knew it was all in fun, he didn't get mad
Saturday morning came, and we all jumped in Van's
We went to garage sales, and even fruit stands
For dinner we were all to bring a dish
Uncle Jim seems to be always frying fish
Danny got in his truck to go shine deer
"I'll go real slow", he said , " have no fear"
So in the back of the truck, we all kneeled
Shinning deer in every field
Pretty soon it got cold, so we headed back
The beetles were out and even the bats
The night was young, and tired we were not
Family was around the fire , in that perfect spot
Uncle Larry never got tired of going to the farm
The laughter and commotion did no harm
The sacrifices that they both made
Seem now to be all our fave
These memories inside I chose to keep
Their always there, and really deep
God Bless you uncle Larry and REST IN PEACE
with all my fond memories, love your niece........PAULA

I will always remember Uncle Larry for the kind gentleman that he was. He loved his family and always made us feel special. When I had my stroke Uncle Larry brought me cut flowers and made me play cards on Sundays to help hasten my recovery. I will miss him dearly.

My belovered Uncle, who I am so proud to have had you in my life.I have so many good memories of you.As a small young girl sitting by the rocking chair and singing our hearts out with the latest songs on the hit parade LOL. You were an amazing man with a lot of Irish wit,a heart bigger than Texas,a whole lot of smarts, and as I said before a great example of what a man should be!! RIP love you so much...
