Carlos Zuna Obituary
AGE: 37 • Brick
Carlos Vinicio Zuna, 37 of Brick passed away on Tuesday November 25, 2014 at Ocean Medical Center with his family by his side. Carlos was born and raised in Azoguez, Ecuador. He was a graduate of Juan Bautista High School. Carlos came to the United States in 2000. He had worked at Ocean Medical Center in Brick for the past five years. Carlos was an avid soccer player, a hard worker, gentle and a caring person. He was a loving son, brother, cousin and uncle, family was very important to him.
Carlos is survived by his parents Carlos and Margarita (Benitez) Zuna of Brick; his siblings Marcelo Zuna of Ecuador, Estrella Zuna of Toms River, Jenny Zuna of Brick, Diana Zuna of Brick. He is also survived by 2 nieces Ariana Zuna and Margarita Cameron; 3 nephews Alex Ramos, Sebastiian Cameron and Andrew Cameron and many cousins, aunts and uncles that will miss him tremendously.
Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation Tuesday December 2 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at Orender Family Home for Funerals, 2643 Old Bridge Road, Manasquan. A Mass of Christian Burial will be 9 am Wednesday December 3 at St. Mark's Church, Sea Girt. Interment will follow at St. Mary of the Lake Cemetery, Lakewood. You were always so kind and sweet when we came to visit,but a favorite memory is when we were outside and you stopped my mom and I and talked us into taking a shot of something and it was really good,but I don't know what it was.you always made us laugh as you always seemed so happy.you will forever be missed.xoxoxo

I only had the pleasure of knowing you for a short time,but the few times I seen you.....you were always so kind and welcoming.Now that you have gone to a wonderful place I know that you will be watching over all of your family and friends as they will never forget you.They will keep your memory alive with all the wonderful memories they will always hold in their hearts.May you rest in peace!!! I worked at school with Carlos and he had so much spirit for life and a love for both his family and country and he will be so truly missed. Such deep sympathy to the family for your loss and my prayers are with all of you. I will miss you Carlos.

Carlos was a proud man who took pride in himself and his job. He was always respectful to others and would make every effort to help when he can. He will be resting with the angels now. I am proud to have known him and will never forget him.

I carry a heavy heart since the passing of Vinicio! I had the pleasure of working closely with him in the OR at night. I also had the pleasure of calling him my friend. His wonderful smile will live on forever! I will never forget his gentle kind manner. I miss you my friend!!

I worked with Carlos and found him to be such a kind and gentle man. He had a great personality, was a hard worker, and always willing to help. I will miss seeing his bright smile at night in the OR and PACU.
