AGE: 66 • Dunelen,
formerly of Middlesex
Elena Rossignolo, 66, of Dunellen, died peacefully Mar. 2, 2015 at Somerset Medical Center, Somerville. She was born in Aidone, Sicily and after immigrating to the US, she lived in Middlesex before her move to Dunellen 2 years ago. Elena worked as a clerk for the State of NJ for 23 years before retiring in 2011.
Surviving are 3 daughters, Maria Trovato of Dunellen, Josie and Tania Trovato both of Middlesex, 2 brothers, Filippo Rossignolo and wife Maria, of Hohokus, Erminio Rossignolo and wife Rosaria of Brooklyn, 2 sisters Vincenza Calcagno & Linda Finamore both also of Brooklyn & 5 grandchildren, Mia, Michael, Mario, Joseph & Vincent.
Visiting will be Wed. 2-4 7-9PM at the Sheenan Funeral Home, 233 Dunellen Ave., Dunellen. There will be a 9:30AM Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday at Our Lady of Mt. Virgin Church in Middlesex, where she was a communicant. Entombment Resurrection Burial Park, Piscataway.
