Uncle Joey,
6 yrs have gone by, and you missed out on a bunch. I knew my wedding day would be hard without you physically there. But I know you are looking down and with me all the time. Time doesn't heal all wounds. I miss you just the same as I did 6 yrs ago. I love you uncle Joey. And I hope you're having fun wherever you are!

Joe will forever be etched in my childhood memories as we lived on the same block, Suydam Street, in the 1960's. I was very fond of Joe and have vivid memories of him coming over to our house, sometimes with his sister Angela and brother Andy (or "Andy Boy" as their mother used to call him). Joe was always kind and friendly to us all. Joe was a bit older than me and remained in touch with my older brothers Sam, who passed in 2009, and Vinnie. Vinnie and I were just speaking of Joe last week. I couldn't believe it when he called me about Joe's passing.
My heart and thoughts go out to Joe's entire family. I will never forget him or his words of comfort when my brother Sam died. Joe would periodically write on Sam's Legacy page. Thank you Joe, I am sure Sam will be there to greet you........neighbors once again. May you rest in eternal peace. May your family find comfort knowing your spirit surrounds them.

Joe was a stand up guy that loved his family and friends. You always knew where you stood with Joe. He never held any punches and definitely was a good guy to have in your corner or an alley outside the bar. lol.. We definitely were in a few scraps together. I was blessed to know him and call him my friend. We will all miss you Joe. I hope to see you again someday, fishing in God's lake and drinking a cold beer.

I am so sorry for your loss. I know how difficult the loss of a loved one can be. I pray that you take comfort in your friends and family and that God gives you the strength needed to get through this difficult time. God invites us to draw close to him in James chapter 4 verse 8.

Uncle Joey,
I will miss you so much. Forever and a day. I've never felt as lost as I do right now. I will never forget your laugh, smile, hugs, stories. I will never forget you. I love you so much and miss you more then words can ever say. To my favorite Uncle, keep watching over us and give us strength. I love you so much.
