Joseph John Wiamer

AGE: 75 • Parlin

Joseph John Wiamer age 75 of the Parlin section of Sayreville passed away Wednesday October 16, 2013 at Bay Shore Community Hospital, Holmdel. Born in Newark he has resided in Parlin since 1967. Before his retirement he was employed by E. I. Du Pont Direct, out of Newark Delaware, where he worked as an electrical engineer. Prior to that he was employed by Johnson & Johnson Personal Products and National Lead Industries. Mr. Wiamer served in the United State Air Force, was a life member of the NRA and a communicant of Sacred Heart R. C. in South Amboy.

He is predeceased by his parents John & Helen Wiamer and his brother John J. Wiamer Jr. Surviving are his children and their spouses Anthony & Pam Wiamer of Woodbridge, Teresa & Dean Hasselbrink of Laurence Harbor and Timothy & Jennifer of Parlin, and his grandchildren Jason, Katelynn, Timothy and Connor.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday 9am from the Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home 15 Cherry Lane Parlin followed by a 9:30am mass at Sacred Heart R. C. in South Amboy with burial to follow at Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Wrightstown, N.J. Calling hours at the funeral home will be held Monday from 2pm to 4pm and 7pm to 9pm. Letters of condolence may be sent to the family at www.spezzifuneralhome.com
