(Home News Tribune)

KRIS WISNIEWSKI
AGE: 35 BARNEGAT TWP.
Our special angel, Kris Patrick Wisniewski, 35, of Barnegat Twp., NJ, formally of East Brunswick, NJ passed away suddenly on Tuesday, December 21, 2010 at Southern Ocean Medical Center, Manahawkin, NJ with his Mom and Dad at his side. Kris was born in New Brunswick, NJ and was raised in East Brunswick before moving to Barnegat seven years ago. Kris attended the Cerebral Palsy Center, Edison, NJ, and graduated with an honorary East Brunswick H.S degree after concluding his education at the Middlesex County Regional Day School Edison, NJ. Kris was a former camper with the Daisy Recreation in East Brunswick, and spent many happy times there. He was a former communicant of St. Bartholomew Church in East Brunswick, NJ and most recently a member of St. Joseph Parish in Toms River. Kris loved the music at church, and often applauded loudly at the conclusion of each mass. Kris lived life to the fullest, and enjoyed dining out, especially when it was just him and Dad, swimming at the Ocean County YMCA with his caretaker Maria, riding over his two favorite bridges, the Seaside and Point Pleasant bridges, and taking boat rides on the Manasquan and Tom's Rivers with his Mom. He also enjoyed his weekend trips to the Park Bakery for crumb buns with Dad, breakfast at Gail's 3C's, sitting at the crabbing dock in Seaside Heights, and watching the boats go in and out to sea. Kris had turkey dinners all year long at Sweet Jenny's in Barnegat. Kris also loved watching football, and sat with a smile on his face when it was game time. Kris was known to be "Allergic to work", but always enthused to help Dad put up carnival signs for various local fairs, especially the former Daisy Fair in East Brunswick. Kris was also a member of East Brunswick Little League special challenger team.
Kris is predeceased by his angel sister, Cheryl, his maternal grandparents, Sophie Pich, and Benny Woronowicz, his paternal grandparents, Helen and Steve Wisniewski, and his beloved Uncle, Bobby Wisniewski. He is survived by his loving parents, Ronald and Carol Wisniewski of Toms River, NJ, his sister and brother in law, Colleen and Craig Patton of Moorestown, NJ his brother Jamie Christian Wisniewski of Manasquan, NJ, his brother and sister in law, Ron and Kelli Wisniewski of Mesa, AZ. Kris is also survived by his seven loving nieces and nephews: Ryan, Allie, Kyle, Tyler and Sarah Patton of Moorestown, NJ and Brady and Makenzie Wisniewski of Mesa, AZ, as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins. The family would like to acknowledge his loving caretakers, Maria Bobadilla, Nina Howard, Annette Sortizza, and Anna Dibrienza.
The family will receive friends Monday December 27th, 2010 from 2-4 & 7-9pm at the Timothy E. Ryan Home for Funerals 809 Central Avenue Seaside Park, NJ. The Mass will be offered 11:00am Tuesday December 28th, 2010 at St. Joseph RC Church, Toms River, NJ. Entombment will follow to St. Mary's Cemetery, Stafford Twp., NJ. Christmas was Kris' favorite holiday; the family would like to request that family and friends dress casually in Christmas colors. In lieu of flowers, the family will be accepting donations in Kris' memory to be used in a special way to honor Kris. Please omit flowers. As a volunteer, it was my joy to know Kris at Ken's Kitchen, St Mary's RC Church, where he came just about every Thursday with Maria for many years. For sure, Kris loved good food and when ever we had music, he sure enjoyed that also.
To Kris' family and Maria, I offer my prayers that God will help you through your sense of loss to that time when you are able to focus more on your happy memories of a great young man.
