I will miss you very much MOM, you were more then a mother-in-law to me you were Mom to me always! We at times didn't always agree as is the case sometimes with in-laws but I loved you very much and I appreciate everything you did for me. I learned alot from you and I am so glad for the time we spent in the last couple of years. What a wonderful and special Grandmother you were to my girls , they love you very much and will miss you. I will always remember the times we spent in Florida together and the special times on holiday's. I will remember you always!!!

DEAR AUNT MARY, THANKS FOR BEING THERE THE DAY I WAS BORN . I CAME TOO QUICK AND WAS BORN AT HOME. YOU SAVED ME FROM BEING NAMED GIZELLA AND NAMED ME KAREN LYNN. GLAD MY MOTHER LISTENED TO THE NAME YOU PICKED. I HAVE SO MANY MEMORIES GROWING UP AT BOTH YOUR COLONIA HOUSES AND EVEN THE ITALIAN GROCERY STORE YOUR MOM OWNED DOWN BY THE FERRY. WE WERE SUCH A CLOSE FAMILY BACK THEN. NOW ALMOST EVERYONE HAS PASSED ON AND IT SADDENS ME SO. I AM SO GLAD YOU MADE IT TO TARA'S WEDDING IN JUNE, IT WAS SO GOOD TO SEE YOU. LITTLE DID I KNOW IT WOULD BE THE LAST TIME. WHEN WE TALKED ON THE PHONE THIS PAST WINTER YOU FILLED ME IN ON SO MANY STORIES ABOUT OUR FAMILY AND ALSO ABOUT YOU WHEN YOU WERE YOUNG AND ALL THE STRUGGLES OUR FAMILY WENT THROUGH. YOU GAVE ME THE GIFT OF KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING OF WHERE I CAME FROM. THINGS ABOUT MY PARENTS AND GRANDPARENTS AND YOUR PARENTS THAT I WOULD HAVE NEVER KNOWN. I WANT YOU TO KNOW HOW MUCH IT MEANT TO ME TO SEE YOU STANDING IN THE CHURCH WAITING FOR TARA TO ARRIVE ON HER WEDDING DAY. YOU WERE RIGHT NEXT TO HER WATCHING HER GET READY TO WALK DOWN THE AISLE WITH HER FATHER. IT MADE ME FEEL LIKE MY MOTHER WAS THERE AFTER ALL. THAT'S A VISION I WILL TAKE WITH ME FOREVER. THANKS FOR ALL THE WONDERFUL MEMORIES THAT YOU GAVE TO ALL OF US! LOVE, COUSIN KAREN
