Robert Nauss Obituary
AGE: 80 • Brick
Robert V. Nauss, 80, of Brick, passed away on Thursday, October 11, 2012 at Ocean Medical Center. Born in Orange to the late Vincent and Jessie Nauss, the family came to Point Pleasant Beach in the 1940's where he was raised and lived until moving to Brick in 2004. He was a 1950 graduate of Point Pleasant Beach High School and a proud veteran of the United States Army. Mr. Nauss worked as a land development representative for New Jersey Natural Gas, Silverton, retiring in 1996 and was also a manager of the Arthur Murray Dance Studio, Asbury Park.
He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Carolyn in October of 2011 and his sister, Marilyn Hendrix. Surviving are two sons, Jonathan of Point Pleasant Beach and Christopher and his wife Carol of Long Beach, CA; two daughters, Marilyn Nauss of San Francisco, CA and Nora Price and her husband Roger of Smithville; his brother, Richard P. Nauss and his wife Judith of Point Pleasant; and two nephews, Brian and his wife Susan and Paul and his wife Sherry.
At 10 a.m., Saturday, October 13 a Memorial Liturgy will be celebrated at Saint Peter Church, Forman & Saint Louis Aves., Point Pleasant Beach, and from 12 Noon until 2 p.m. friends may visit with the family at the Pable Evertz Funeral Home of Point Pleasant, 901 Beaver Dam Road.
