SANTINA "SANDY" L. MAZUR
AGE: 86 PERTH AMBOY
Santina "Sandy" L. (Martino) Mazur, 86, of Perth Amboy, passed away Monday March 15, 2010 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Born in New York City, she was a lifelong resident of Perth Amboy. Before her retirement she was employed by RCA for 15 years. Mrs. Mazur was a communicant of Holy Spirit RC Church in Perth Amboy and was also a member of the Holy Spirit Seniors and the Altar Rosary Society. She was also a member of the American Disabled Veterans and was a volunteer at Deborah Hospital.
She was predeceased by her husband, Lt. Edward J. Mazur who was killed in WWII; by her parents, Salvatore and Susie Martino; by her sister, Josephine Kirschman and her brother, John Martino. Surviving are her sisters, Salvatrice Worobey of Edison and Lucy Simpson and her husband Daniel of Middletown, NY; her brother, Santo Martino of Wallkill, NY and by her nieces and nephews, Kathleen Kirschman, Albert Kirschman Jr., Jo Anne Rusin, Susan Quinn, Daniel Simpson Jr and Tony Martino.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday 9am at the Maliszewski Memorial Home, 121 Main Street, Sayreville. Entombment will follow at Woodbridge Memorial Gardens in Woodbridge. Calling hours at the funeral home will be held Friday from 5pm to 9pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Sandy's name to the Society of St Vincent De Paul, 260 High Street, Mt. Holly, NJ 08060.
