I remember Helen very fondly as a member of our doll club. She was always the life of our meetings--very funny and entertaining! She took me to my first Meier and Frank Warehouse sale on a cold, icy day--I was afraid the roads were too slick to drive, but Helen wasn't going to let a little inclement weather hold her back from a sale! I also remember her very generous heart. When I happened to mention that my baby boy needed some new shoes, she took me down into her basement and pulled out a huge box full of shoes she had bought at sales, and told me to take my pick. She also gave every one of our doll club members wonderful gifts at our Christmastime meetings. She hosted a sweet baby shower for my second child. I could go on and on. So many precious memories. Helen moved away from Vancouver and our doll club many years ago, but I have thought of her often over the years, and even recently reconnected with her again on Facebook. Many condolences to your family...she will be missed. ~~Angela Cash
