LEON BRYANT WILLIAMS
DILLON, S.C. — Leon Bryant Williams, 83, died Thursday, Oct. 18, 2018, at his residence.
The funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. on Saturday at Dillon Church of God Radford Boulevard Campus (Youth and Activity Center), 536 Radford Boulevard, Dillon, S.C. with burial to follow in Greenlawn Cemetery. Pastor Joe Grice will officiate. The visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday at Kannaday Funeral Home in Dillon.
Mr. Williams was born in Dillon, S.C., Aug. 13, 1935, the son of the late Matthew and Sudie Lambert Williams. Leon was an avid fisherman. He enjoyed working at B&W Auctions, where he was the owner. Mr. Williams was a member of Dillon Church of God.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Betty Brown Williams of the home; sons, Michael Williams (Pansy) of Hamer, S.C., and Danny Williams (Michelle) of Jacksonville; daughters, Debbie Lee (Alan) of Hamer, S.C., Donna Gibson (Harold) of Laurinburg, and Mary Bohachic (Mike) of Little Rock, S.C.; brother, D.J. Williams (Cathy) of Dillon, S.C.; sisters, Shelby Carter of Dillon, S.C., Estelle Simar (Johnny) of Iota, La., and Callie Allen of Hamer, S.C.; 11 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
Leon was predeceased by his brothers, R.M. Williams and Donell Williams; sister, Maxine Hayes; and grandchild, John Bailey.

So sorry to hear about Leon's passing. He was a special person and friend. We are sure he will be missed by many. We didn't known anything about it until Saturday evening when we read the obituary in the Lumberton paper. Our thoughts and prayers are with Betty and the whole family.
