Mrs. Andrea Louise Geddings Hucks, 76, widow of the late Levy Wayne Hucks, Sr., passed away Wednesday, May 24, 2017.
Born July 27, 1940 in Durham, NC, Mrs. Hucks was the daughter of the late J.L. and Kathryne Harker Geddings. She was a retired office clerk from the Horry County Treasurer's Office. Mrs. Hucks was a member of Maple Baptist Church. The family would like to thank Dr. Paul Richardson, Carol Anne Gardner and staff, and also Dr. Rebecca Cody and staff of Coastal Cancer Center for their excellent care.
Survivors include a son, Levy Wayne Hucks, Jr. (Pam); a daughter, Glenda Hucks; two grandchildren, Josh Hucks (Katelyn) and Kayla Simonson (Bart); two great-grandchildren, Keegan Hucks and Piper Hucks; and two sisters, Kathy Calhoun (Lee) and Laurie Russell (Frank), all of Conway.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, May 27, 2017 in the Goldfinch Funeral Home, Conway Chapel with the Rev. Gary Reeves and the Rev. Mark Howard officiating. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 5-7 PM Friday at the Funeral Home.
Memorial donations may be made to Maple Baptist Church, 4500 Hwy 65, Conway, SC 29526 and The Horry County Animal Care Center, 1923 Industrial Park Road, Conway, SC 29526.

Andrea had such a beautiful personality! Her life was a blessing to me and all that knew her. She will be missed. God bless her family with loving memories. May her memories be a comfort to you today and in the times ahead.

Ann and I went to Conway High together. She was the sweetest and the smartest girl ever. I always looked forward to seeing her when I was home. God bless y'all, and know that she was loved and will be missed !

So saddened to hear of Andrea's passing...she was a friend for many years...from our high school days....always had a smile on her pretty face. Will miss seeing her at our reunions...
