Cynthia D. "Cindy" Tanner, 61, passed away peacefully at her home, surrounded by loved ones, on Saturday, December 1, 2018.
Cindy was born in Hemingway, SC daughter of the late Clarence Talbert Tanner and Vivian Cameron Tanner. She was a kind and gentle soul with a ready smile for anyone who crossed her path. She was always ready to go anywhere anytime someone needed her. She enjoyed gardening and spending time with family and friends. She retired from Myrtle Beach Vacation Rentals.
Cindy was predeceased by her father, Clarence Talbert Tanner.
Surviving is her mother, Vivian Cameron Tanner, sisters, Dayle Tanner and Melody Tanner; a brother, Gail "Bo" Tanner; and nephews, James, Philip and Matthew Tanner.
Funeral services will be held 3:00 PM Tuesday, December 4, 2018 at Center Baptist Church, 2602 Schoolhouse Drive, Hemingway SC 29554 officiated by Rev. Ken Herrington. Burial will follow in Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5-7 PM Monday December 3, 2018 at Goldfinch Funeral Home, Conway Chapel.

There are some people you meet and totally fall in love with, and Cindy was one of those people. I loved Cindy. She would come and watch tennis with Mel and she was part of our team. Cindy was always a kind, beautiful person inside & out and I saw Jesus in her. May the Lord console friends and family members who are grieving the loss of such a beautiful soul.
