John Mercer Obituary

Boiling Springs , South Carolina - John Nathan 'Nate' Mercer, 41, of Boiling Springs, SC, died Sunday, July 16, 2023. He was a devoted father and employed by Performance Food Group, recently winning the "Difference Maker" award. He was also an avid fisherman, hunter and Gamecocks sports fan. The past two years he served as an assistant coach for his son's little league baseball team. He attended Lake Bowen Baptist Church.
He is survived by his daughter, Madison; son, Connor; parents, Scott and Toby of Inman, SC; sister, BJ Davis (Jeremy) of Wellford, SC. Also surviving are his grandmother, Margie Lewis of Fairmont, WV; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at Lake Bowen Baptist Church, 404 Sugar Ridge Road, Inman, SC, at 3:00 PM on Saturday, July 22, 2023, with visitation beginning at 1:00 PM at the church.
