Martinsburg, West Virginia - On this day January 25, 2022 Patricia has entered into the arms of her Lord to search out loved ones who have gone before her and together with them rest in peace in eternal life.
Patricia Sower nee Ruggeri was born January 19, 1937 in Blue Island, Illinois, the daughter of Beulah and Anthony Ruggeri. She was preceded in death by her husband, James, and her parents, many aunts and uncles and most recently her niece Lori Heindel. She is survived by her daughter Kim M. of Troy, Michigan, her son Steven J. (Patty) of Martinsburg, her grandchildren Jamie Lyn, Jonathan and Jillian and her great-grandson Ryan J. Sower. She also has two half brothers Anthony Ruggeri, half-brother Louis and half-sister, Debbie Reginelli, a step niece Monique and a step great grandnephew Caiden all from the Chicago area. Also surviving are three step grandchildren Andy, Kate, and Isaac Stutzman plus a great step grandson Logan all from the WV area, her sister-in-law Lois Heindel (Jack), her niece Andrea (Ed) and great grandnephews Bobby and Andrew of Myrtle Beach, SC.
She graduated from Blue Community High School in May 1954 and has an associate degree in Finance from the American Institute of Banking. After her marriage she became a member of Faith Lutheran Church in Toledo, Ohio where she participated in many church activities. After moving to Murrells Inlet, SC, she joined Shepherd of the Sea Lutheran Church she was on the church council there and worked as assistant treasurer. She was employed in the banking field for over thirty years and her last place of employment was Huntington National Bank, Toledo, Ohio where she worked for 13 years before retiring to Murrells Inlet, SC.
She and her family were active in Quarter Midgets of America; also she loved to bowl and won several championships with her team. She loved her Dallas Cowboys and NASCAR and spent many a Sunday watching them.
A funeral service will be held in Toledo, Ohio at a future date.
