Alan Carroll Obituary
He was born on February 6, 1954, to David and Jo Ann Carroll in Paducah, Kentucky. Alan was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses on May 10, 1970. He was a faithful member of the Springfield Congregation of Jehovah's Witness. He graduated from Springfield High School in 1972 and began working for Peterbilt Motors for over thirty years. He enjoyed sharing his hope for the future with everyone he met. Alan was known for his adventurous spirit, keen sense of humor and agreeable nature.
Alan is preceded in death by his father, David M. Carroll.
He is survived by his loving wife, Sherry Carroll; daughter, Cara (Marcello) Santarsiera; mother, Jo Ann Carroll; siblings, Jimmy (Cindy) Carroll, Danny (Bridgette) Carroll, Julie (John) Fuqua and Kilp (Rebekah) Carroll; nephew, Jonathan Carroll and nieces Amelia Fuqua and Claire Carroll.
A Life Celebration will be held on Saturday, May 28, 2022 at 3pm in the chapel of Springfield Funeral Home. Visitation with the family will be on Saturday from noon until the time of service.
