Amada "Venzor" Samuels

Memorial services for Amada "Amy" Venzor Samuels, 66, of Lovington will be held on April 11, 2023 at 10:00 am at Kirby-Ratliff Chapel with David Stewart officiating. Amy was born on December 11, 1956 in Lovington to Salvador and Zenaida Venzor and passed away on March 31, 2023. Amy was a retired RN. Loved working and going to the casino. She enjoyed all the grandkids and great-grandkids. Most of all she loved spending time and traveling with her husband Mike. Amy Crocheted to pass the time when not busy. Her two best friends besides her husband were her sister's Esmeralda and Rosa. Of all the places she ever worked she enjoyed working at Lea Regional Mental Health and the Humphrey House the most.
She was preceded in death by her husband: Michael Samuels; her parents: Salvador and Zenaida Venzor; one son: Jeremy Pando; one sister: Yolanda Mendoza; and one brother: Frank Venzor.
She is survived by two daughters: Veronica and husband Tony Uranga and Shelly Samuels; one son Roy Samuels and wife Tonya; three brothers: Danny Alonzo, Pilar Marufo, and Joel Alonzo; three sisters: Esmeralda Venzor, Rosa Lopez and Aurora Preto; eight grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren.
