Amber Champagne Obituary
Amber Michelle Midkiff Champagne, 45, of Benton, Louisiana passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on June 14, 2023.
A memorial service celebrating the life of Amber will be held at 2:00 PM on June 20, 2023, at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 2565 Airline Drive, Bossier City, Louisiana 71111.
Amber is survived by her husband, Brad Champagne; daughters, Jade and Brooke; son, Christian; mother, Gayle; stepfather, Earl; brother, Michael; and sister Ashley. Amber is also survived by a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and lifelong friends.
Amber was born in Portsmith, Virginia on December 9, 1977. She graduated high school at Lakeland Union High School in Minocquia, Wisconsin. Amber earned her nursing degree from Bossier Parish Community College in Bossier City. Amber worked as a nurse for nine years at Willis Knighton Piermont in Shreveport, Louisiana. Amber loved working as a nurse, painting, crafts, being outdoors, loved the beach and driving her Jeep.
The family of Amber wish to thank the special staff and caregivers with The Carpenter House and Willis Knighton Piermont, and all the amazing doctors, and nurses past and present for their compassionate patient care over the years.
