Annie Hartley Obituary

Annie was born Sunday (July 5, 1942) to the late Willie Drew Nowlen and Ellen Catherine Banks Nowlen in Preston, GA. She was a homemaker and affiliated with the Baptist Faith. Her favorite hobby was reading, but she also quilted, crocheted and did jigsaw puzzles.
In additionto her parents, she was also preceded in death by three sisters, Mary Price (Ralph), Faye Goodwin (Alvin), and Dorothy Hart.
Mrs. Hartley is survived by her husband, Clarence Hartley of Waycross, GA; six children, Darryl Hartley (Terrie) of Waycross, GA, Connie Herrin (Wes) of Waycross, GA, Wayne Hartley (Edith) of Hoboken, GA, Melissa Lewis (Jeff) of Nahunta, GA, Eric Hartley (Cindy) of Blackshear, GA, and Clay Hartley (Carla) of Marinette, WI; eighteen grandchildren, Ashley, Kalsey, Andrew, Hannah, Annie, Wesley, Wayne, Kenneth, Donald, Megan, Jeffrey, Cole, Roger, Keri, Payne, Madeline, Samantha and C. J.; sixteen great grandchildren; a sister, Joan Watkins of Jacksonville, FL; and a brother, Dickie Nowlen (Susan) of Macclenny, FL.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday (July 13, 2022) at the Music Funeral Home Chapel.
