Marybeth, You will remember me as Ellen Long, wife of Dennis Long. We spent time together as young couples and had children close in age. Joey was 5 months older than my oldest, Dennis.
I am so sorry for you and your family. I don't normally check the obituaries in the Weirton paper as I have been in California for over 30 years. In looking at the name Thomaselli, I further looked and recognized your name and Marco. The last time I remember seeing Joey, he was about 2 years old. I just wanted to send my condolences to you and your family for your loss. Praying you find comfort in your memories of Joe and all the good years you had him with you.

I am so sorry for your loss. Although you do not know me personally, I was a customer of Alpine. Joe was the nicest and most hard working man. He was always pleasant and professional. Mrs. Thomaselli, going to school with Joe at St. Paul's and Madonna leaves me very sad to hear of his passing. He was always a good classmate and friend to my brother Tommie and kind to all of his friends. He was always a positive guy who tried his best to make his family proud. Jodi and family: I cannot recall a moment with Joe where he wasn't laughing or I wasn't laughing or we both weren't laughing about something. Our friendship made my life better. I hope it did the same for him! I loved to talk firearms with him and we shared that enthusiasm. May you somehow find peace with this loss, and know that he was a good good friend. I'm sorry to here about Joey we were in the same grade together at St Paul's he was always a fun kid to be with we were always talking about being Kiss fans and wanting to be rock stars when we were little. Haven't seen him for sometime, once in awhile I would run into him at the school our daughters go to high school together but I always thought to myself that he never changed still looked the same as we were young.
