Bernard Panzer

Bernard Panzer, of Boca Raton, FL, formerly of Cliffside Park, NJ. Loving husband of Helene (deceased 2016), extraordinary father of Nadine Kurzman and to her husband Allen, grandfather to Brett, brother of Marty with his longtime partner Gregg. Bernie was a devoted, totally committed husband and father for more than 60 years. He loved his family immensely. Bernie was an executive in the garment industry and a partner in Character Suburbanwear. He was widely known as a respected, affable, adored professional for more than 40 years until his retirement in 1998. Bernie was affectionately known by all in the garment center as, "Bernie Blazer" after the creation and enormously successful sales of the patchwork blazer. His showroom was an inviting, magnetic destination for buyers as he welcomed clients and prospects with warm greetings and provided them with overstocked candy everywhere. He passed peacefully. Services were private. Nadine is comforted in her belief that Helene and Bernie are reunited forever.
