Services are scheduled for Saturday, January 13, 2023 at 1:00 PM at Fry-Gibbs Funeral Home with Rev. Justin Wideman officiating. Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service time at the funeral home.
Howardene was born on March 14, 1936 in Stephenville, Texas to Mattie and Howard Chamberlain. She married Lynn McDaniel on October 12, 1957 building more than 61 years of family and memories. Howardene received her Bachelor Degree from East Texas State University. She taught English in Crowell, Childress, Matador, Pampa, and Savoy. She retired in Pittsburg, Texas in 1996. She was a member of Direct Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lynn; parents; baby daughter, Patti; son, Tim; sister, Martha; sister-in-law, Patsy; and her in-laws.
She is survived by her precious daughter, Lori; son-in-law, Carey Malone; a God sent grandson, Curt; brother, W.D. Chamberlain and wife Wanda; numerous nieces and nephews; a favorite niece, Mattie Hullinger and son, Aidan; a favorite nephew, Ross McDaniel and wife Tammy
Serving as Pallbearers are Larry Roberts, Kent Erwin, Dolvin Parson, Montie Parson, Willie Caldwell and Junior Moore.
