A graveside service has been set for Tuesday, October 28, 2025 at 2:00 PM at Knights of Honor Cemetery with Rev. Mike Adkins officiating. The family will receive friends thirty minutes prior to the service time at the cemetery.
She was born in Deport, Texas on January 17, 1937 to Clyde and Ida Johnson. She loved everyone and everyone loved her. She especially loved her family and loved spending time with them. She worked until her second retirement at the age of 79 years.
She is survived by her son, Billy Glenn Bybee; daughter, Deborah Lynn Bybee; grandchildren, John, Danielle, Michael, Adam, and Megan Bybee; three great-grandchildren; sister, Iva Nell Murphy; step-daughters, Paula Ross and Sue Short. She was preceded in death by her parents; both husbands, Billy Joe Bybee and Horace Mitchell; and several siblings.
