Beverly Ann Briggs

Ms. Beverly Ann Smith Briggs age 67 accepted her destiny and became an Angel for all that knew her on June 20, 2022. Beverly was born to the late union of Curtis and Mary Smith on August 23, 1954. She retired from Brookhaven nursing home, after many years and was currently employed at Seminole Shores assisted Living. Beverly enjoyed working with the residents at the home. She also loved being with family and spending time at the casino. She touched many lives that she encountered. Beverly leaves to cherish 5 daughters, Lavetta Powers (Richard), Donette Williams (Willie), Tameka Smith, Tamara and Teenya Brown. She is also survived by her sister Gail Sotelo, Brothers Larry Smith (Era), Larry Smith (Debra), Roger Lee Smith-Churchwell and Curtis Smith (Gwen). Her significant other Bennie Sanders, 10 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren. God sister, Deborah Gay Terrell, 2 special cousins, Ethel Liggings and Delores Brown. A host of nieces and nephews.
Beverly was preceded in death by her husband Lee Briggs, daughter- LaTasha Smith, three brothers- Ernest, Stanley, and Donald Smith. One sister- Barbara Dooley.
