Candy J. Brown, age 61, of Knoxville, TN., passed away suddenly on Monday, October 9, 2023.
Candy was a fan of the Nashville Predators and NHL Ice Hockey and loved listening to her music. She also loved sharing time with friends and family. Candy loved raising her African violets and planting flowers with her granddaughter. She also loved her two dogs, Zippy and Timber. Candy was a graduate of Farragut High School and went on to become a secretary for several companies.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul, and Jean Atchley; son, Timothy John Brown, who served in the United States Air Force for 20 years, and whom she was very proud.
She is survived by her husband, Marcus Brown; Granddaughter, Keira Brown; brothers, Randy (Leah), Larry (Annette), Garry (Lynn), Atchley; several long-time, special friends, Debbie McCauley, Angela Houston, and LeighAnn Borden, and an extra-special friend, Erika Hickman (Woodstock), who stepped into her, and her husband's lives when they most needed it at their time of loss and became like a daughter to them.
There will be a celebration of life for Candy on Saturday, November 4 at 11:00am at Powell United Methodist Church, 323 W Emory Road, Powell, TN 37849. This will be a very casual dress so please come as you are to celebrate Candy. Please bring any pictures or memories you have of Candy.
