Carolyn Gibson Obituary
Funeral services are scheduled for Tuesday, May 16, 2023 at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with interment to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Reverend Steve Stewart will officiate. The family will receive friends on Monday, May 15, 2023 from 5 – 8 pm at the funeral home.
Ms. Gibson was born May 1, 1954 in Gainesville, Georgia to W. L. McNeal and Maxine Stevens McNeal. She was an agent with Berkshire-Hathaway Real Estate Company and was a member of Chicopee Baptist Church. Carolyn was preceded in death by her father, W. L. McNeal. Carolyn was a devoted mother, grandmother and friend.
Ms. Gibson is survived by her two sons, Chad & Kelly Gibson of Flowery Branch and Casey & Laurel Gibson of Gainesville, her grandchildren, Ally Gibson, Bryson Gibson, Riggs Gibson and Barrett Gibson and her mother, Maxine McNeal of Gainesville.
The family would like to thank Patty Chapman for her dedicated care of our mother, Hospice of NGMC, and a special thank you to her close friends that were such a help to us in providing love and care for Carolyn.
Flowers are accepted but those who wish may make donations to ALS Association of Georgia, 5881 Glenridge Drive, Suite 200, Atlanta, Georgia 30328, in memory of Carolyn Gibson.
Memorial Park Funeral Home, 2030 Memorial Park Road, Gainesville, GA 30504 is in charge of arrangements.
