Anderson - Carolyn Jo (VanCamp) Hardacre, 77, Anderson, went to be with the Lord on April 2, 2009 at the Simon Cancer Center at the I.U. Medical Center after an extended illness. She was born September 14, 1931 and resided in Anderson. Carolyn was a speech and hearing teacher.She was also a homemaker and lived most of her life in Anderson. The last seven years of her life she and her husband resided at Lake Lemon where they were members of Cottonwood Christian Church in Morgantown. She was a leader in Bible Study Fellowship, member of PSI IOTA XI, P.E.O., 20th Century Club, Victoria Guild, Fruits of the Spirit Bible Study and Bible Study Circle at First United Methodist Church in Anderson. She is survived by her husband. Lowell, who she married on August 7, 1955. Children; David (wife, Cheryl) Hardacre, Lori (husband, Tim) Swanson and Amy (husband, Ron) Stohler all of Anderson. Sister; Donna (husband, Mark) Erehart of Lake Lemon. Step-sister; Alfreda Barrett of Anderson. Step-brothers; James (wife, Pam) Jackson of Anderson and William (wife, Ruthann) Jackson of Jacksonville, Fl. Three Grandchildren; Brandon Hardacre, Sarah Stohler and Matthew Stohler. Several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; Dorothe (Hanson) Jackson and Donald VanCamp. Niece; Betsy Erehart and Step-father; Alfred Jackson. Visitation will be from 4:00-8-00 PM on Monday, April 6, 2009 at Robert D. Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory, South Chapel, Anderson, Indiana and one hour prior to the service. Services will be Tuesday, April 7, 2009 at 11:30 AM, at Wesley Free Methodist Church, Anderson, Indiana, with Pastor Darrel Miller officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Anderson . Memorial Contributions may be made to Cottonwood Christian Church, 2523 Cottonwood Road, Morgantown, Indiana 46160 www.LooseFuneralHomes.com

Still miss you Carolyn. You were such an amazing woman. Everytime I hear "I Will Rise" by Chris Tomlin I think of you. I always enjoyed spending time at your Lake House with You and Lowell. You and your family were always so generous to us!
