He was born on November 5, 1953, in St. Clair.
He married Debbi Lemen on June 15, 1973. She preceded him in death on August 23, 2020.
Chris served honorably in the United States Army. He enjoyed taking boat rides, loved listening to music and fishing. He also enjoyed old cars, working on cars and NASCAR.
He is survived by his children; Christopher J. Bowen Jr., Carl (Jennifer) Bowen and Amanda (Gerald) Clancy, grandchildren; Helen C. Bowen, Gabriel Bowen and Charles W. Clancy, great grandson, Ashton M. Colwell, his parents; Gerald and Charlene Bowen, siblings; Vicki and John Jeffries, Greg Bowen, Kirk Bowen, Melanie and Mick O'Boyle, and Karen Bowen, along with several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his brothers; Gerald Bowen and Wade Bowen.
Private services will take place.
Arrangements in care of Jowett Funeral Home - Port Huron.
